Internship project: Senior Graphic Designer, Pangea, Chicago, IL JUN–AUG 2014
Pangea is a financial company that allows users to send money instantaneously from the US to Mexico, creating a payment platform that will enable consumers to transfer funds internationally trough a mobile app, web portal and retailer partners.
As a graphic design intern, I worked both collaboratively and independently which taught me how to work and communicate with other people.
I worked with UX/UI design, creating US map infographics for clients and Visual Identity products for the company. For example, in the first five weeks I worked with the art director and another intern to design an App, web portal and website pages. After 5 weeks I independently designed US maps including South Carolina, North Carolina, California, Georgia, Oregon, and Illinois. Pangea uses these maps on different media such as posters, poster cards, T-shirts, water bottles and so on. The internship experience there taught me to be a responsible and grateful person.
